My husband and I hired Danya to help us with the care, and some design ideas for our yard.  We purchased a darling house with a beautiful garden already in place.  Neither one of us had much gardening experience or knowledge.

We were fortunate to find Danya to help us know how to care for our garden, and even to help us know what was planted!   She has such a vast knowledge and could answer all of our questions!   Over time we got to know Danya as a person, not just our gardener. We totally trusted het to come to our house when we had to be out of town, due to our jobs.   It is a great thing to have someone like Danya that you can trust with something as important and personal as your home.

We asked Danya Simkus to execute garden designs, both for a new garden installation and for sprucing up an existing bed.   The designs were completed quickly and professionally, and landscape contractors who subsequently saw the designs commented that they had never seen such beautifully drawn plans.

Danya has a thorough knowledge of plants and how they will work in varying situations.   She used her expertise to give us a very workable plan, while remaining respectful of our wants, needs and budget.   Because of Danya's skill and professionalism, we strongly recommend her services to those seeking to beautify their property.   We would be happy to speak to anyone considering hiring Danya.

Danya worked for us for several years.   At first she helped with the planting of the annual flowers and seasonal bulbs.   Later we contracted her to oversee all phases of our yard including coordinating with general maintenance crew and Landscape crew to ensure that the proper condition of the yard was maintained.

Danya also handled the planting of all annuals, bulbs and shrubs as required.   She did some redesign of selected areas of the yard including redesigning several plantings and lawn areas.   Danya made many suggestions as to ornamental and wrought iron gates, trellises, plant hangers, etc to improve the overall look of our yard.
